About Me
Hi, I’m Duncan — a landscape photographer based in Sydney, Australia. I specialise in capturing calm, atmospheric landscapes, seascapes and cityscapes from Sydney, NSW and beyond. My work focuses on light, mood and the quiet moments in nature that are easy to miss in everyday life.
My journey into photography began when my fiancée (now my wife) surprised me with a camera for my birthday. That gift changed everything. I became obsessed with learning — studying tutorials, attending workshops and spending early mornings and late evenings practising in the field. Over time, photography became not just a hobby, but a way of seeing and appreciating the world.
Through my lens, I’ve been lucky enough to witness incredible coastlines, dramatic weather, peaceful sunrises and vast natural spaces. Photography has helped me slow down, be present and connect with the environment in a meaningful way.
I’ve always had a strong interest in both creativity and technology, and photography sits perfectly between the two. I’m constantly experimenting with new techniques, tools and approaches to grow as an artist and storyteller.
Today, I share my work through fine-art prints, photography workshops and online projects. If you’re interested in collaborating, licensing images, or working together on travel, tourism or outdoor campaigns, I’d love to chat.
