📷

Come Prepared
What to Bring
✓ Camera (DSLR or mirrorless preferred; point-and-shoot is fine)

✓ Tripod — essential for long exposures in low light
✓ Remote shutter release (if you have one)
✓ Spare batteries and memory cards
✓ Small torch or head torch
✓ Warm, layered clothing — it’s cold before sunrise
✓ Lens filters (optional — polariser or ND)

Your Guide
About Duncan
Duncan Struthers
I’m a Sydney-based photographer with a particular love for the early morning — the hour before and after sunrise is where most of my best work happens. I’ve spent years learning how to read light, find compositions and work quickly in changing conditions, and these workshops are a chance to share that approach 1-on-1. My goal isn’t to teach you to shoot like me — it’s to help you develop your own eye and come away with images you’re genuinely proud of.
