Grant of Rights
I hereby grant the photographer and their business the irrevocable right and permission to use, reproduce, publish, edit, and distribute photographs taken of me and/or my event for the purposes selected below. I understand these images may be edited, cropped, or combined with other material. I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished images.
Declaration
By signing below, I confirm that I am 18 years of age or older (or the parent/guardian of the subject), have read and understood the terms above, and agree to grant the rights described. I understand this consent is governed under Australian law.
1. Booking and Payment
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking date. Deposit amounts by package: 2-hour $150, 3-hour $200, 4-hour $250, 5-hour $300, 6-hour $350, 7-hour $400, Full day $500. The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days before the event. Payment accepted via credit/debit card (Stripe), PayID, or bank transfer.
2. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation more than 90 days prior: deposit forfeited. 30-90 days prior: 50% of total fee payable. Fewer than 30 days prior: full fee payable. Cancellation by photographer: full refund of all monies paid. Event insurance is strongly recommended.
3. Delivery of Images
Edited images will be delivered within the agreed timeframe (typically 4-6 weeks for full events). The approximate number of edited images is as specified above. Images are supplied via online gallery and/or USB drive as agreed.
4. Copyright and Licence
All photographs remain the intellectual property of the photographer. The client is granted a personal, non-commercial licence to print and share the delivered images.
5. Liability
The photographer's liability is limited to the total fee paid. Professional indemnity and public liability insurance is held. Backup equipment is always carried.
6. Conduct and Access
The client agrees to provide reasonable access to all areas of the event necessary for photography. Any specific venue restrictions should be communicated in advance.
7. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
Photographer Countersignature
This contract will become fully executed once countersigned by Duncan Struthers Photography. You will receive a confirmation email containing a secure link for the photographer to add their countersignature.
